Hallo, Chichi\u00ae-liefhebbers,<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a> Mijn naam is Marves Barbolina. En ja, de spelling is correct; met een “e”. Ik ben geboren en getogen op Cura\u00e7ao. Ik heb ongeveer 7 jaar in de VS doorgebracht voor mijn Bachelor in Financi\u00ebn en een Master in Bedrijfskunde. Ik ben sinds 2004 werkzaam bij het Ministerie van Financien als Hoofd afdeling Treasury van Cura\u00e7ao. Ik ben gezegend met twee prachtige zonen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ik heb altijd genoten van verschillende vormen van kunst en ik ben altijd dol geweest op schilderen. In mijn jongere jaren heb ik eindeloos veel uren geschilderd, maar mezelf nooit als een kunstenaar beschouwd. Toen ik me voor het eerst realiseerde dat de Chichi\u00ae’s door onze lokale bevolking werden beschilderd, werd ik erg enthousiast over het vooruitzicht om een \u200b\u200bChichi\u00ae-schilder te worden. Ik maakte het <\/span>\u00e9\u00e9<\/span>n van mijn voornemens voor 2019. En je hoeft geen professionele schilder of kunstenaar te zijn om in aanmerking te komen als Chichi-schilder. En de timing was precies goed, omdat mijn kinderen zijn uitgevlogen, wat betekende dat ik mijn vrije tijd beter zou gebruiken en iets ging doen dat ik echt leuk vind. Dus ik heb me aangemeld in november 2018 en sindsdien schilder ik Chichi\u00ae’s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ik haal mijn inspiratie grotendeels uit foto’s, maar mijn doel is om dat punt te bereiken waar ik mijn eigen inspiratie, mijn eigen fantasie\u00ebn kan laten zien. Ik denk dat ik het liefst mooie patronen maak in alle vormen en maten. Ik zorg er voor dat elke Chichi\u00ae een kunstwerk op zich is; die ik ook voor mezelf zou kopen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dus, met de aanmoediging van mijn familie en vrienden, ben ik hier, een offici\u00eble Chichi\u00ae-schilder nummer 67 sinds mei 2019!<\/span><\/p>\n
