“I am retired now. I was one of the first 6 painters when Serena started with her Chichi®s in Curaçao in 2008. I get my inspiration and my designs from books and from other paintings. Sitting in my dining room and painting makes me feel relaxed – it is like a mother who is busy with her baby – you know?
I want all my Chichi® poppetjes to be sold. That’s a sign for me that I made a quality product! In my free time I clean my house and enjoy going into town, just strolling around, visiting nice shops and generally having a good time.’’
