Thea Parthenos is a true Berlin original and as multi faced as the city itself. The universal artist studied art historian and does not fear using the many mediums and materials that this world has to offer. Whether it’s Photography, fashion or music she can turn everything into a source of inspiration.
Her latest creative phase is inspired by the Vaporwave aesthetic, which is just as eclectic and multi stylistic as Thea herself. Her art incorporates the timeless beauty of past and future eras without the conventional constraints of their origins.
It is not surprising that Thea repeatedly returns to Serena’s Art Factory to seek inspiration from Chichi, the island, and Serena herself. Regularly, she escapes her hometown to embark on a creative and spiritual retreat in Curacao. Since her first visit in 2013, Thea has developed a deep love for this time and a lasting friendship with Serena. The latest Chichi was created at the end of her last visit in 2024 and captures the surreal, lovely, and yet ever-changing mood that the artist recently experienced.
