#95 Claudette Koster

– born in 1964 in Curaçao

I’m a mother of two, a boy of thirty and a girl of twenty eight. I’m also a grandmother of a girl of four (red. Dec 2023). I’m a pensioner and started to paint Chichi’s in February 2023. Through Facebook I noticed that it was possible to paint Chichi’s at home and I was immediately interested. I didn’t do any course to learn how to paint, but I was good in painting cartoons at school. When I started painting Chichi’s, it was the first time that I painted with a brush.

My passion is to paint animals, marine life and flowers. Sometimes I get inspired by the singing of the birds and challenge myself to paint them. My balcony is my favorite place to paint the Chichi’s in the open air. During the painting I do my utmost to make a piece of art of every single Chichi and I always hope that they will be accepted by the costumers.

I start my day with painting and when I’m feeling tired I take a break and do my other duties at home.
