I’m a pensioner and started to paint Chichi’s in February 2023. Through Facebook I noticed that it was possible to paint Chichi’s at home and I was immediately interested. After working 35 years at a company, for me it was an opportunity to do something else in my own tempo. When I started painting Chichi’s, it was the first time that I painted with a brush.

My passion is to paint flamingo’s in the nature, buildings like Handelskade, marine life and flowers. Sometimes I get inspired by the singing of the birds and challenge myself to paint them. My balcony is my favorite place to paint the Chichi’s in the open air. During the painting I do my utmost to make a piece of art of every single Chichi and I always hope that they will be accepted by the costumers.

Normally I start my day with painting and than I will have breakfast. When I get tired, I stop and continue with cooking and my other duties at home. After a break I will continue with painting.
