#89 Raquel Maduro

– born in 1963 in Curaçao

My name is Raquel and I am very honored as an artist to have the chance to be part of this project. I believe that each piece I create is unique and special in it’s own way. I love to paint flowers. Each Chichi that is painted is a reflection of a story that each Chichi wants to share with the world and uses me as their medium to express their creativity, imagination, and emotions.

With each brushstroke, I am able to convey a message or tell a story through the use of color, texture, and composition. Each Chichi is unique in it’s own way and will catch the eye of that special person that understands their beautiful story.

When I create a piece, I pour my heart and soul into it, carefully selecting each element to ensure that it accurately represents my vision. The process of painting itself is a meditative and cathartic experience that allows me to fully immerse myself in the moment and express myself in a way that words cannot.

Ultimately, I believe that the beauty of painting lies not only in the finished product but also in the journey that led to its creation. Each piece I make is a testament to my creativity and a reflection of my innermost thoughts and feelings.
Thanking you for the oppottunity to leave a part of Me in your life.
